Here are a few photographic links - information and places to buy cameras, lenses, filters, and other photographic equipment. If you are looking for good used equipment, somewhere that has a large selection, I highly recommend checking out the auctions on Ebay. There is always a good selection of Konica, Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Minolta, and other brand equipment. And often the seller is the original owner, who has taken well care of what he's selling. Most of my camera bodies and lenses, as well as other equipment, have been purchased through ebay auctions. I have delt with many of the companies listed here, or learned from their sites, and found them to be reliable and helpful, with many being very competitive in price. The two I deal with most are B&H Photo and Adorama. Both are are very reliable, and carry just about anything you need in the way of photographic equipment. I also deal with them for used equipment, as well as with KEH. Mico-Tools carries the world's largest selection of camera and lens repair tools and supplies. I've done a lot of business with Warehouse Photo, especially for filters, step rings, body and lens caps and lens adapters. They even carry hard to find Konica T-Mount adapters. Other good sources for filters are Singh-Ray Filters, Photofilter and Camera People, as well as B&H Photo and Adorama. Other web sites similar to B&H and Adorama, which carry a wide variety of equipment, and which I've successfully delt with, include: Camera World, Canoga Cameras. I've also had great success in buying used camera equipment at Henry's in Canada and Pacific Rim Camera. Kinesis Photo Gear carries modular belt and case systems for film video and photo equipment of professional grade. For camcorders, I've found the best prices at Camcorder.com and 1-888-Camcorder. And for replacement camcorder batteries try MJM Electronic. For rechargeable batteries and battery chargers check out Thomas Distributing. I use Zorb-It as moisture control in all of my bags. Unless torn, this marvelous product will last forever as it works to control moisture in your bags, without needing replacement or recharging. John Shaw, world famous nature photogrpher, has his own site at John Shaw's Nature Photography where you can find tips and a link to his books, as well as see some of his wonderful photography. Anyone interested in Nature Photography would be well advised to read his books. If you should need Konica service or parts, an excellent source is Greg Weber. Greg is an authorized Konica dealer and stocks over a thousand lenses and several hundred Konica bodies, rangefinders and Koni-Omega's as well as SLRs. Below are links to other's personal photography pages that I like, admire, or find helpful. |
